Homosexuality and its Origins:

In the videos that we saw in class we had for some “displeasure” and for others the “plesure” of seeing how their were diferent types of Homosexual customes and how homosexuality can be ither nurture or nature, because in most cases scientists cannot know if it is surture or nature they have asumed that was normaly causes homosexuality is the number of boys that a mother has. Because of the following resonable explination, when the baby is a boy and it is in the mother’s uterus, the mothers body emideatley clasifies the male baby as a foreign and unknown thing and it tries to protect the body from it so it attacks the male hormones and that way the boy has less male hormones and he will have a greater possibility of becoming or being born gay or homosexual. There is the example that we saw in this video in class were their were these identical twins that were born almos identical! And from the out side they look exactly the same and they seem like they are the same person but once you get to know them better you find out that one is actualy really normal, he likes toy soliders, he loves action figures he likes video games, he chases girls and he does all of the things that boys that age do , but on the other hand there is the other identical twin that was born at the same time as the really male one, on the other hand this one is exactly the compleate opposite of male or “normal” little boy, he loves to write in his jurnal, he likes to color his fingernails, he loves the color pink, he talks in a different and a more feminin way, and he does not have a action figure collection, instead he has a doll house and he has a lot of stuffed touys and stuffed animals such as unicerns, and as “un- normal” as this sounds, for that little boy and his mother that is actualy very normal and he lives in a compleatley supporting enviorment. When both of the twins were sat down to make them some questions and to interview them with the show’s host, the twin that was more feminin was a little bit more loose and more confident of himself and talked a lot more, and he actualy addmited what he was and what he liked infront of the camera and he did not have any shame in doing so. Were as the other oe had a little bit of more trubble expresing himself when questions were asked to him. They were asked what types of ideo games each one likes, and one said something like G.I. goe soliders, and the more female like one said he loved to play neo pets or something that a “normal” boy that age would hate to play. In conclusion I think that homosexuality has different cases of it, and nobody can actualy know if it is caused by nurture or nature.

MIND READING

i tried to censor the girl that is saying BIT(#!!! but did not find a way how :o but it was sutch a funny pic i just had to put it in!
I think that in this video that we saw in class about how computers and live brain scans or even an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) of your brain can help scientist and psychologists now a days with the technology at our disposal how they can read our minds. In this video we could see that subjects were put through a series of exams and a series of brain scans in order to pas though the next step that was a series of questions about sometimes pictures of buildings animals and fruits and food. In one exam they were asked to tell the researchers psychologist and scientists what they thought that the figure meant of what shape it had or even what they could relate it to in their day to day lives. And though this series of questions that were made to the subjects they later proceeded to do a brain scan or an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) that is new technology and helped the psychologist and scientist that are specified in the area of science that studies the brain or psychology, to scan the brain for any sudden changes that may help them know what was going on in the subjects brains at the time of the questioning. And once the tests were completed, they later proceeded to the computers to see if the computer could read the minds of the subjects or volunteers that way calculating the answer that the subject said. It turned out that the computer is correct most of the time and in that case it scored a 10/10. All we can hope for is that in the future, more mind reading machines are made and they are shown to the public and used in science, psychology, medicine, or even law and order cases.

Brain Damage:
In this video we can learn a lot about how our brain can be affected by different types of hits towards the brain. For example we can see that by getting into a fight we feel confident and most of the time if we start it, it is because we know or at least we think we know that we will win, but what if the other guy wins or beats us in the fight ? various things can happen, you will be ashamed of yourself because you started it and then lost it, and also you have high risks of having brain damage, and in some cases brain damage can be permanent and you can be isolated from society, and this is one of the things that this video showed us or taught us, that you don’t prove anything by getting into fights and you get into a high risk of ending up with brain damage. We can use the example of one of the guys in the video that has a beautiful family and he got into a fight in a bar and ended up with massive brain damage and he basically can’t even talk, he can’t walk, he can’t think straight. And the most probable thing in that situation is that that is how he will live for the rest of his life. There is not only a good possibility of having brain damage by getting into a fight, we have that same risk every day! When we get into a car, you can get into a car crash and have massive brain damage. Or you have risks in sports like soccer or football, basically in every sport, even in golf! What if a player throws a ball and it hits another player in the other side of the field? Brain damage is a serious thing and it is an actual problem that we see every day in car crashed or extreme sports.

Phycology Teenage Brain

I thought that these videos were extremely educational and taught us things that none of us knew about our own brains!! These videos were actually the first I can truly say that I enjoyed watching in a class, because it explained so many things about my own brain and why I do some of the things I do! I learned so much about why sleeping is better for us and helps us in so many ways such as helping us lock in that information we need for the test the next day, it also helps us teenagers concentrate better in our day to day jobs, and it helps us to not be all lazy about everything all day long. I also learned that a teenage brain is taught and programed to think it knows everything but actually we don’t and as we grow older we realize how wrong we were these days.  I also learned about other teens in the United States that have the same or similar thoughts and have the same problems about being lazy and thinking that they are always right but they are actually very wrong. In conclusion these videos are very educational and it helps us understand a little bit more about our brains and why we do things.
